Mi nombre es Yago, modelista español, madrileño de nacimiento desde hace más de treinta años y residente en Toledo desde hace pocos años.
Mi trabajo actual no está relacionado con este hobby. Iluminador de televisión de profesión y modelista en los ratos libres.
Mis inicios en este hobby se remontan a mediados, casi finales, de los años 80. Primero comencé con la escala 1:87 o HO, alternando con algunos aviones a escala 1:72. Pero casi en la década de los 90 vi que la escala que más posibilidades me brindaba era 1:35 y ahí me quedé.

Gracias a la casa donde vivo ahora pude hacer un sueño realidad. Pasé de una habitación donde era difícil hacer grandes dioramas, y en donde había que tener cuidado para no manchar con nuestras pinturas y pegamentos las paredes y algún que otro mueble, a un espacio extenso donde poder trabajar y en donde no recibiría aquellas razonadas quejas de mi madre. Ese espacio fue una de mis primeras cosas que hice nada más entrar en la casa donde vivo actualmente.

Como ya he comentado alguna vez en algún foro de modelismo mi pasión, dentro de esta escala, se centra en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y más concretamente en la famosa Wehrmacht alemana.

El atractivo de un ejército bien estructurado y preparado, y la variedad de sus modelos blindados y de otra índole me atraparon.

My name is Yago, Spanish modeller, was born in Madrid for more than thirty years and resident in Toledo for a few years.

My beginnings in this hobby go back to middle, almost final, of the 80's. First I began with the scale 1:87 or HO, alternating with some planes to scale 1:72. But almost in the decade of the 90 I saw that the scale that more possibilities was drinking to myself was 1:35 and there I remained.

Thanks to the house where I'm living now I could make a dream real. I happened from a room where it was difficult to do big dioramas, and where it was necessary to have care not to stain with our paintings and glues the walls and some that another furniture, to an extensive space where to be able to work and where it would not receive those reasoned complaints of my mother. This space was one of my first things that I did after entering the house where I'm living nowadays.

Since already I have commented at some time in some forum of model-maker on my passion, inside this scale, it centres on the Second World War and more concretely on the famous German Wehrmacht.

The attraction of a well structured and prepared army, and the variety of his armored vehicles and of another nature they caught me.
